The Bad Neighbor Blues
What grievous wrongs
Of an already harried life
No honor among thieves of time
To understand why I feel so taxed
And jump at the doorbell's peal
Or knuckles rapping at the door
Pulling out what is left of my hair
At the senseless intrusions
Into my semi sane life.
Would defenestration help?
I sing the bad neighbor blues.
