Minuscule Worlds
Minuscule worlds set on a shelf or a table,
So tiny but such perfect detail,
A teensy coach pulled by mini horses,
Cinderella all dressed for the ball.
The seven deadly sins, small yet intense,
Guaranteed to cause shivers, so amazing.
See the White house on display
The carefully planned intricate details,
Right down to silver, lights, and lawns
See the Royal Queen on her throne,
Purple silk gown trimmed with lace,
Her crown set with diamonds in gold.
Moses in his basket, hidden in the reeds,
Being rescued to bide his time.
Historical subjects, the fanciful, fairy tales,
Imagination run wild, what can be done?
A fairy in a teacup, well why not?
Or even in a teacup of a dollhouse!
On the head of a pin, an amazing portrait.
Painted with the patience of Job.
Trolls and fairies play in gardens,
Filled with nature bounty and stones,
And live in a house hollowed out of a limb.
No subject impossible, even death represented.
While a concert in minor is played.
Just takes the will and imagination
And craftsmanship so nimble.
Join me in the halls of the small?
