Neath the Brazilian Sea

How do you say
Goodbye to your son?
Child of your loin
No chance given
For a valedictory speech
The waters swept him away
From beneath his mothers gaze
His dad in a country far away
A burden always carried
To have missed being there
To try to stop the unstoppable
An all encompassing rage and sorrow
For a life that will never embrace the future
Or know how to withstand
The winds of time and temptation
Just a young lad running in the sun
With a fondness for water
And a zest for living
Leaving behind a twin
That will forever wonder
What happened to his brother
Neath the Brazilian sea.
