I would make one wish
For those angry or troubled,
That one sunny day they find
The peace only found inside.
External pleasures or possessions
Cannot equal that inner glow,
That comes from knowing
You did the right thing
For the right reason.
Bitter words and curses
Never reach the core,
All they do is destroy
The illusions others build.
When frustrations run rampart
And angry words are spoken
I wish you peace of mind
So you can let those words
Roll off into the sea of despair
That you are floating far above.
