Longing for something
Missing from my life
A sense of belonging
A need to spend time
Whether over the phone
Or in person
With the one
You should cherish
Unsure as to which path
Life is going to take
A sense of wholeness
In one area completed
Only shows up the lack
In another area
Will I ever have it all
The way I want it
The way it should be
Seems like one section
Is all smoothed out
Only to find
I ironed wrinkles
Into another section.
