Parts of the Man

Arms strong and muscular
Capable of soothing a fretful baby
Or holding someone that needs a shoulder
Arms that like to reach out
To someone in need
that genuinely care
What is happening
In someone else's world
Arms that have the ability
To drive me wild with lust
Yet love just to wrap around me
And hold me close.

Eyes that light up
with laughter and love
Sparkling eyes that dance
With mischief and fun
And are not afraid
To shed tears of joy or pain
Soft eyes that reveal the soul
Of the man
Who loves without reserve.

A mouth full and sensuous
That smiles a crinkly smile
And begs to be kissed
Long hard and deep
A mouth unafraid to speak
What the heart feels
But in a way that helps not hurts
The soul of the other.

Feet planted on the ground
Yet not afraid to soar
With the eagles
A sturdy foundation
Which lends to the rugged air
Of the man

A head that thinks
Not just reacts
About actions and results
About good and bad
And what happens next
A head not filled with baggage
From the past
that has room for the future
And the ability to reason through
The rough spots in life

A heart open and loving
Capable of giving and receiving
Not all walled off and protected
Where no mortal can go
But a battle scarred mess
of war wounds that show
The depth of caring
This person can give.

And don't forget a cute hiney!
