The Hidden Faucets

As the gaudy signs flash
Their messages above us
Just ignore the hazards
Of their warnings
And find a place
Which penitent natures
Would abhor
And strip off the denim and lace
In silent luxury of the flesh
Let no one impede
The needs of the soul
As the macadam dries
Beneath the sun's glare
The lusty deal of the libido
Hides the facets of deception
Like the eyeglasses hidden
With the wedding ring
In the pockets.
